Buttons (Butts for short) . . . or Butts Up as he was known in his racing career is a shy black and white Greyhound boy aged four (born October 2006) he's been retired and for the first time in his life will find an owner prepared to teach him the joys of living in a centrally heated home, with the free run of a garden and plenty of cuddles. Buttons enjoyed some success in his racing career, finishing in the top six in 15 racing, winning three. For more information, please call

Butts is in a new foster home in Lincoln - he lives with 4 other dogs (male & female) & a small child. He was very timid & nervous when he first arrived but Julie (foster mum) has egnored this behaviour, didnt pander to him and he has come right out his shell - even greeting new people with excitment.
He does live in a cat house hold - but a new owner with cats must be able to control this and be happy to shout NO! very loudley at Butts. This might not be ideal for someone who hasnt introduced greyhounds to cats as he does want to chase them.
Hes clean in the house, no bother at all. In the previous foster home he played nicely with a huskey puppy so could possibley be ok with small dogs in a new home.
Walks lovely on a lead - an easy rehome
